Francesca was born in 1995 and started practising karate in 2004 in Soragna. She transferred to the Fidenza Hombu Dojo after 2 years, joining the competitiveteam.
Her first important result arrived in 2008 when she won 3rd place for Kumite in the FIJLKAM Italian Youth Championships, earning her an invitation to join the national inter-style squad. In 2009, she took part in the Goju-Kai World Championships in South Africa, winning 3rd placein Kumite.
She became Shodan in 2010 and 2012 and Nidan before the European examination commission in the Czech Republic. In 2011, she took part in the Goju­Kai European Championships where she took 3rd place in Kumite and Cadets Regional Championships where she was regional champion for the third time. In 2015, she represented Italy in the Goju­Kai European Championships once more in England, taking 3rd place in the Kumite class and just missing a place on the podium in the Kata class. In 2011, she started teaching in Soragna alongside Master Laurini, eventually taking over running of the course. In recent years she has been collaborating with other instructors and is an active part of organising competitor training, specialising in Kumite. After obtaining her high school diploma in science in 2014, she enrolled in the Motor Science, Sport and Health degree programme in the faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma, and joined the University sports team, taking part in the National University Championships.
